Atlus updated the official Shin Megami Tensei IV website today with character artwork for the game’s five Samurai heroes, and five of the game’s new demons designed by a variety of illustrators (most of whom have worked on Kamen Rider).
King Asmodeus was designed by Yasushi Nirasawa, known for his Undead character designs in the Kamen Rider series. Dragon God Kouga Saburou was designed by Tamotsu Shinohara, also known for Kamen Rider. Archangel Rafael was designed by Keita Amemiya, who did character designs for games like Clock Tower 3, and Onimusha 2 and 3, as well as monster designs for Kamen Rider. Earthquake Kuebiko was designed by Kyouma Aki, known for his creature design in Persona 4: The Animation. And Heavenly God Omoikane was designed by special effects and makeup effects artist Yoshihiro Nishimura.
