Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, New Super Mario Bros. 2 bundles, too.

Nintendo has announced a new color variation and bundles for 3DS XL in Japan.

On November 8, Nintendo will launch a custom-designed Animal Crossing: Jump Out-themed 3DS XL. It will include an SD card loaded with the game. On the subject of the game, Nintendo will host an Animal Crossing: Jump Out-focused Nintendo Direct broadcast on Friday, October 5 at 20:00 JST. You’ll be able to watch it here.

Earlier, on November 1, Nintendo will release an all-black color variation for 18,900 yen. A bundle, including Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate loaded onto an SD card, will also be released for 21,800 yen.

Finally, on November 15, the publisher will release a custom-designed New Super Mario Bros. 2-themed 3DS XL for 22,800 yen, which will, again, include the game loaded on an SD card.

        great :D

but what’s the isn’t gamecard much better or SD??

        • There’s a Monster Hunter 3DS bundle with gamecard and standard 3DS in Japan already (launched in may, or april, don’t remember correctly); now Nintendo (from the release of NSMB2) focusing on digital too, so it’s not so surprising that digital bundles announced.

Nice to see Nintendo catching up with the rest of the industry that has been doing retail and digital releases for a while now.

  • Updated screens with higher res official shots. Might need to clear your cache for them to appear correctly.

Am I the only person that finds the White Console and the red one to be fairly hideous?

They both look like they caught some form of Pox.

The white one taking it a step further looking like it was designed by Measles the Clown.
