Second Ninja Gaiden hits Sony handheld in 2013.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is coming to PlayStation Vita early next year in the form of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Team Ninja announced during their Tokyo Game Show press conference today.

The first game, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, launched for PlayStation Vita in February.

    Awesome, keep the games coming.

YES! I love you Team Ninja!

I wonder what new content it will have.

    enough ports please >..<

  • Cool but I just bought the PS3 version and will stick with it.

  • Blah another port. I would like to know if limbs get cut off and blood spews everywhere. That is what I loved about Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360.

I’ve wanted to get the PS3 version, but I’m down for the Vita version, assuming the framerate isn’t sacrificed like the first Plus.

I guess my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but I really don’t see the difference. I’ve heard and seen people complain about the drop to 30fps so I know it’s a legit complaint, but I just can’t even tell.

I have residual interest for this, it’s one game I’d definitely get if I had a Vita and no other games to play on it, but not a game I’d get the system for.

    • Sevyne

I agree that it isn’t a system seller, but since I already have a Vita I’m definitely getting it.

      • FaithlessMr

I’d definitely do the same if I had one. I’m waiting for Persona 4 Golden in Europe though :D That’s my system seller.

        • Sevyne

P4G was one of the big reasons I got my Vita too. I got mine at launch anyway just to get it out of the way while I had the cash to get it though.

Also sucks Europe has to wait til Spring 2013 for P4G unless you plan on importing the game from NA in November.

          • FaithlessMr

I’ll wait! It sucks having to wait, but I want to show support for MegaTen games in Europe. I also did that with the Tales of games, and meanwhile I hope the Vita gets some more intesting games. I’d definitely get Gravity Rush and Uncharted with my system to keep me busy until this one tho.

            • Sevyne

I didn’t care for Uncharted (but they aren’t my kind of games really), but Gravity Rush was a fantastic game. I’m with ya on supporting a game in your region too. I’ve been tempted for a while to import Anarchy Reigns/Max Anarchy, but I’ve been holding off for a NA release to support it here. I only import if I know we aren’t getting it or it’s going to be way too long of a wait.

              • FaithlessMr

I totally forgot that Anarchy Reigns wasn’t released in the west yet!!! Sega definitely screwed up there :/ It’s a pain, having to wait a lot for games you care for, but I never stop feeling that I’m doing something for the community. Even if my contribution is meaningless, in a way, I still think it’s worth it :)

  • Well at least Tecmo Koei did have new IP exclusively for Vita in this TGS. Namely Toukiden. And it is quite a surprise to see that it is not another Musou game.

    • AuroraXIII

Knowing Omega-Force, it will probably play like a Musou game anyway.

  • now if you can do the co op with cross play i’m down

  • PrinceHeir

i knew it they would port these :P

now it’s a matter if it’s gonna be dual audio(since the PS3 version had one, shame Sigma Plus 1 cut this)

hopefully they bring back the decapitations ^^
