Dokuro coming to North America next month

Dokuro, GungHo Online Entertainment and Game Arts‘ PlayStation Vita side-scroller, is coming to North America via PlayStation Network next month.

The game follows Dokuro, a skeleton man who rebels against his boss the Dark Lord after falling in love with the princess the Lord kidnaps to marry. You’ll need to get the princess from point A to point B across traps, pitfalls, etc. as you guide her to the exit of the Dark Lord’s castle. (She has no sense of danger, by the way.) As you progress, you’ll gain new abilities, such as “Hero Transformation” mode, in which turns Dokuro into a handsome-looking prince-type man. The game is centered around the themes of “unrequited love and tireless devotion.”
