Vevo app coming to Ouya

Ouya today announced a partnership with Vevo, “the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform,” bringing high-definition music video programming to your Ouya console.

The Vevo app will allow users to access over 50,000 high-def music videos and original programming from more than 11,000 artists. You can “browse through the most-viewed music videos on the web, explore full video catalogs of top-selling artists, or venture into the realm of new staff picks, live concerts and original music programming.”

The Vevo app will launch with Ouya in March 2013.

Additionally, with six days remaining on Ouya’s Kickstarter, it is offering a alimited edition console and controller for $140 pledges (the additional cost compensates the small production run). Here’s what it looks like (also, the buttons are now officially labeled “O-U-Y-A”):
