Tales of Xillia 2: Elise and Rowen return

Live talk event to be held on August 18.

The latest issue of V-Jump introduces one new and two returning characters to Tales of Xillia 2, due for PlayStation 3 on November 1 in Japan.

  • Beasley Kalush Baku (ビズリー・カルシ・バクー) (CV: Tsutomu Isobe) – Clanspia Company’s chief executive officer. Though he’s a civilian, he is able to shift the funds of the national budget. He is the man in red from the first trailer. Quote: “Ludger, I want you to lend your power for the world.”
  • Elise Lutus (CV: Yuki Horinaka) – returning from Tales of Xillia, she is now a student in Kalaha Schall (カラハ・シャール). With eyes full of wonder, she’s fully enjoying her new life. Quote: “It’s okay, I can handle it!”
  • Tipo – Elise’s pet thing. He’s restored, or something. Quote: “Aww, Elise, you’re so grown up!”
  • Rowen J. Ilbert (CV: Mugihito) – also returning from Tales of Xillia, he is now the current prime minister of Liese-Maxia. He is a strategist that once held the nickname, “The Conductor.” Quote: “That old man isn’t at the age where he can regret anymore, so he’s desperate.”

Whether or not Elise and Rowen return as party members is unconfirmed.

Separate from the magazine leaks, Namco Bandai announced plans to hold a Tales of Xillia 2 live talk event, hosted by producer Hideo Baba, at 13:00 on Saturday, August 18 from Kotobukiya’s Akihabara building, which will broadcast online via Ustream.

Additionally, the second TV commercial for the game will begin airing from Sunday, August 11 in Japan. Tales Channel+ members will get to see it ahead of time on Monday, August 6.
