Square Enix and IO Interactive have confirmed David Bateson as the voice talent behind Agent 47 in Hitman: Absolution.
Bateson has been the voice of Agent 47 since the series’ beginning, Hitman: Codename 47, in 2000.
Joining Bateson is William Mapother, star of hit TV series LOST, who performed the motion capture work for Agent 47 at Giant Studios.
“IO and Bateson have been bed fellows for over a decade and like all long running relationships sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder,” said HITMAN brand director Jon Brooke. “Looking back I think we were just playing hard to get.”
Hitman: Absolution is due for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 20.
