Wii U‘s seen strong third-party support from Ubisoft, and decent support from publishers such as Electronic Arts, Warner. Bros, and THQ. But what about Capcom? When 3DS was first launched, Capcom came at the handheld with full force, with releases such as Super Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, and the later released Resident Evil: Revelations. But we haven’t seen anything from the publisher regarding Wii U yet.
Asked about whether or not they’re planning support for the high-def Nintendo console on the Capcom Unity forums, Capcom’s Christian Svensson responded: “Some good stuff is coming and I’d love to tell you more… but for now, I have to keep it a surprise. Sorry.”
Looks like we’ll have to play the waiting game.
Thanks, Nintendo Everything.
