Capcom announced during its Gamescom press conference this morning an all-new IP from developer Dontnod Entertainment.
Set in Neo-Paris 2084, where personal memories can be digitized, bought, sold, and traded, Remember Me follows the story of Nilin, an “incredibly athletic” and martial arts-trained elite memory hunter, who has the special ability to break into people’s minds and steal or change their memories. However, the tables are turned as Nilin’s memories are erased, beginning her journey to “reclaim her identity” and “discover how she can change the world.”
If you remember Adrift, which Dontnod showcased concept art for at Gamescom last year, this is the same game with a new name.
Remember Me will launch for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in May 2013. View the first screenshots and new artwork at the gallery. Watch the debut trailer and gameplay video below.
