Retro/Grade, 24 Caret Games’ award winning reverse-timed space battle rhythm / shoot ’em up, will launch for PlayStation Network on August 21, the developer has announced.
Unlike classic shmups, Retro/Grade is played in reverse. The beginning of the game sees players stop a massive alien invasion, but the dstruction damages the space-time contiuum, and time begins to reverse.As Rick Rocket, you must restore time to its proper state, unfirin your shots, which are timed to the beat of the game’s soundtrack, and dodging enemy fire, returning their shots to their weapons.
The game’s soundtrack will also be made as a separate download on PlayStation Network.
