Vita version adds Under Defeat guest.

Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture are bringing former Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive shoot’em up Sine Mora to PlayStation Vita.

“When you’ve got a great game on your hands, there’s nothing you want to do more than share it with everyone,” said Balázs Horváth, director of publishing at Digital Reality. “We had a fantastic launch with Microsoft exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, and we’re really excited to continue that on the Vita.”

The PlayStation Vita version adds an exclusive new guest character from Japanese cult studio G.rev, known for shoot’em up classics such as Border Down and Under Defeat. That playable character is Under Defeat‘s Wilhelmine Muller, who will have his own special weapon and chronomes.

A release date was not announced, but Sine Mora will arrive on Vita “soon.”

    Awesome. One of the few games on xbla that I would like to play.

    Funny how true exclusivity for games is a foriegn concept for MS.

    That coupled with the poor HW and this is why there is no need to own an MS console.

    D1P.

      @Malcolm Reynolds:
      Sine Mora in itself is hardly a system seller and it’s already on the 360 so it’s just better than more people get to play this.

    Exclusives arent about being system sellers….although your gears of wars and Uncharteds certainly fit that bill.

    Exclusives are what set aside one console from another.

    Would you buy a dvd player from Toshiba and one from LG to hook up to your living room TV?

    No, you wouldnt b/c they play the exact same movies.

    Would you marry a woman who has your exact personality?

    I hope not….when two people are the same…one is not needed.

    If MS cant guarantee that for my $60 in live fees and my multiple investments in replacement HW will be met with exclusive games I cant get anywhere else then there is no need for their console to exist.

    You wont find God of War, Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Ratchet, Jak, Sly, Resistance, Twisted Metal, Heavy Rain, InFamous, MGS4, Folklore, LBP, Journey, Atelier, Ni No Kuni, etc etc etc, on xbox or Wii.

    Those and SCADS more are what set Sony apart.

    After Halo, Gears, LoLFable and Forza, there really isnt anything that sets MS apart except the occasional xbla exclusive which as it turns out….more often than not shows to have been nothing more than a timed exclusive at best.

    Thats shameful and a slap in the face to the loyal fans of MS’ console. Hence….my no longer being a fan of their console.

    Either way…I agree, great news that more people, including me will get to play this game.

    Now to get Bastion and Hydro Thunder 2 on my Vita!!!!

      @Malcolm Reynolds:

      I thought people just bought consoles to play video games. I don’t think anyone puts this much thought into their purchase.

  • Malcolm Reynolds

    @Psykotsu: which is exactly why the 360 has so much marketshare this gen. They certainly didnt earn it with killer exclusives, dependable HW, and value for the dollar.

    Nope, they skipped QA, passed that on to the consumer, launched a year earlier than they should have just to beat Sony to market and then since late 09 stopped focusing on games for the core fanbase.

    If people dont put thought into what they invest $100’s of dollars into they should have the taste slapped out their mouth.

    America, land of the vapid, home of the monetarily incompetent.
