NIS America appoints new president

Nippon Ichi Software president takes command.

NIS America president Haru Akenaga will step down from his position on July 1 to pursue a new business venture in Japan, the publisher has announced. Akenaga led the company for eight years.

Taking on the new role as president is Sohei Niikawa, the current president of Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. (NIS America’s parent company). His leadership promises to maintain the “vision and spirit” of Akenaga, who will of course be missed.
