Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Paper Mario: Sticker Star launch for 3DS this holiday
Mario series 3DS titles arrive in time for Christmas.Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, formerly Luigi’s Mansion 2, and Paper Mario: Sticker Star, formerly Paper Mario 3DS, will launch for 3DS this holiday season, Nintendo has announced at E3.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will offer players “multiple mansions” and a “variety” of puzzles to solve and explore. Luigi’s ghost-sucker, vacuum-like machine, the Poltergust 5000, will allow him to suck up ghosts, who can no longer be stunned by the simple shine of a flashlight. To take care of the ghosts, Luigi now needs to active a new strobe function on the Poltergust 5000 before sucking them up.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star sees baddie Bowser ruin the annual Sticker Fest when he scatters the six Royal Stickers across the land. Now, it’s up to Mario to find these “mysterious, magical stickers,” which are stuck to Bowster and his minions. Kersti, a sticker fairy, joins Mario in crossing through “prairies, deserts, forests, snowy mountains and volcanoes” all over the world.
Stickers are your arsenal of items and attacks in “traditional Paper Mario action-battles,” and can “unfold the environment to reveal new areas and ways to progress through the game.” You can collect stickers by finding them in the environment, buying them in shopes, or making your own.
