Includes the much desired Wizard's Companion Book.

Namco Bandai is readying a Ni no Kuni “Wizard’s Edition” for Europe.

It will include:

  • A copy of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
  • Downloadable Content: exclusive “Golden Mite” and “Golden Drongo” DLC familiars.
  • A Drippy plush doll.
  • A 300+ page hardcover “The Wizard’s Companion Book.”

A shot of the Wizard’s Edition, as well as separate shots of the two download content monsters and additional pre-order monsters, can be seen at the gallery.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is due for PlayStation 3 on January 25 in Europe, and in North America on January 22.

    Awesome, so where is the American version?

    • Sal Romano

      @KingOptimusOrigins111: Nothing’s been announced, yet. It’s possible an announcement is coming today. The fact that Namco Bandai U.S. operates on Los Angeles time may be a reason for the delay. I can’t imagine why we wouldn’t get this, though. The only reason Europe got a special edition of Tales of Graces F was due to the big gap in between the U.S. and European releases, IIRC. This launches at about the same time in both territories.

        @Sal Romano:
        Ok, thanks Sal for the reply. If it does get announce for America I’ll probably buy it if not then I’ll import it.

        @Sal Romano: When will Los Angeles time equal European time so I would know what time to expect an announcement if there was going to be one? :p

    If this edition is EUR only I will import it through on day 1.

    Thankfully, unlike that other inferior piece of feces people call a games console…The PS Triple is region free!

  • Wow Look So Beautiful

  • Alos88

    I wonder, will it be priced the same as the normal edition like Tales of Graces F’s Day One Edition? I’ll probably buy this version regardless, I want that book!

    @Sal Ramano

    I read somewhere a while back that the US was getting a digital version of the book in game to make up for them not providing the real book in America.

    My buddy has the JPN collectors edition and the book is indeed beautiful.

  • xMCXx

    So, we do get the book? I just came. Twice.
    Seriously, thank you Level5 and Studio Ghibli!

  • LordKaiser

    Euro only special edition again? If that’s the case give us Americans the Ark weapon plans for WKC2 instead of Ni no Kuni special edition then since Sony won’t unlock Avatar Story from our discs.

  • This better release in the US. :|

  • Zero

    I always say this, but NB america has a crap track record. I won’t get my hopes up.

    I wonder how much this will cost to import… Not sure I can afford it.

  • barklight

    A 300+ page hardcover “The Wizard’s Companion Book.”

    That do want!!!
    Will 100% import this.

  • FaithlessMr

    I’ll take two :3 *proud to be european :3*

    It still doesn’t make for the games we missed back in the 90’s :P but we’re close. In all seriousness, I hope they consider a similar game packaging for the US, everyone should have the chance to get the fantastic book and the Drippy plushie!

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring this stateside! I want the WIZARD’S COMPANION BOOK sooooo badly! (& a FULL-SIZED ARTBOOK please..)
