Metal Gear Solid HD Collection dated for PS Vita

Portable Metal Gear Solid legacy on June 12.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will launch for PlayStation Vita on June 12, Konami has announced. The game was previously known only for a June release window.

The collection includes high-definition remasters of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as well as the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Kojima Productions’ new Transfarring system will allow players to transfer their save data from the PlayStation 3 version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to PlayStation Vita and vice-versa to continue playing where they left off, anytime of day. The PlayStation Vita version also utilizes the system’s touch-screen and rear touchpad, allowing gamers to zoom in, peek around corners, interrogate enemies, cycle through equipment, an perform quick attacks with their knife.
