IO’s “major” Hitman announcement is Hitman: Sniper Challenge

That “major” HITMAN announcement teased by IO Interactive yesterday is Hitman: Sniper Challenge, the latest issue of Game Informer confirms.

The magazine contains an advertisement for the mini-game, which can be obtained and played “today” by pre-ordering Hitman: Absolution at GameStop.

Hitman: Sniper Challenge boasts a “replayable sniping mission,” “exclusive rifle with upgrades,” and offers “awesome prize packages for top snipers,” suggesting the implementation of a leaderboard function.
