Capcom released its expected sales numbers for its upcoming blockbuster releases in its “Overview of Strategies and Plans” presentation for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.
Capcom’s forecasts:
- Resident Evil 6 / PS3, Xbox 360, PC / October 2 (US, EU) October 4 (JP) / 7,000,000
- DmC Devil May Cry / PS3, Xbox 360 / 2012 (Worldwide) / 2,000,000
- Dragon’s Dogma / PS3, Xbox 360 / May 22 (US) May 24 (JP) May 25 (EU) / 1,500,000
- Lost Planet 3 / PS3, Xbox 360 / Early 2013 (Worldwide) / 1,400,000
Two of the mentioned title appear atop Famitsu readers’ top thirty most wanted games every week. And it’s fair to say franchises such as Resident Evil and Devil May Cry certainly have a large following worldwide. Do you agree with Capcom’s predictions?
