Ono teases fighting game reveal at Captivate

Yoshinori Ono may be taking a break from work, but that didn’t stop him from attending this year’s Captivate in Italy.

The annual Capcom event, which sees the reveal of new games, as well as new details on already announced titles, is currently underway in Rome. Embargo for the briefing lifts on April 10.

“Hi good morning Rome,” said Ono in a tweet. “Today’s Captivate 1st day!! We’ll be announcement about some title and some news! ;D”

Six hours later, he said: “So we’re having Captivate at Rome just now! Fighting team had presentation for new future.”

Last month, a source of technology blog VentureBeat said a Darkstalkers 4, headed by Yoshinori Ono, was in the works at Capcom, and uses a modified version of the Street Fighter X Tekken engine. If true, it’s possible it will be / was already revealed at Captivate.
