Nintendo will showcase a new Super Mario game for Wii U at E3 this year, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has said.
The game will combine both the TV and tablet controller. No word on if it’s based off the New Super Mario Bros. Mii tech demo shown at E3 last year.
Miyamoto confirmed this during his trip to Paris, where he has been speaking to many European reporters.
The Mario creator also thinks Wii U will have a great future. He is working on several small but important projects, at the moment, but his main focuses are Pikmin 3 (Wii U) and Luigi’s Mansion 2 (3DS). He said he would also like to do something with the Wii Music property, and was sad to see it not sell as well as expected.
