Nintendo have released the debut screenshots of New Super Mario Bros. 2.
The images are the same that were shown during last night’s Nintendo Direct announcement, but this time they’re not something we’ve print-screened.
The game will be a traditional sidescroller featuring Mario, Luigi “and loads of other favorite characters” from the series. It’s being created “specifically as a pick-up-and-play experience that can be instantly enjoyed by players of all skill levels.” It’s due in North America, Europe, and Japan this August.
