Back in August, Square Enix bought development rights to True Crime: Hong Kong from Activision. They didn’t buy the True Crime IP, however, meaning the game would be released under a new name.
At the PlayStation Destination event in Arizona this week, Square Enix lifted the lid on the game’s new title and key art. Due in August 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, (according to Future Shop Gamer), the game’s new title is Sleeping Dogs.
