
The first developer diary (or zeroth) for the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings went live today. In it, developer CD Projekt talks up the Xbox 360 version as an “adaptation,” rather than a simple port. It’s being ‘rebuilt’ to feel native to the console, but have the same fidelity as the PC version. It’s added new intelligent camera system, new controls, a new targeting system, a new console-friendly user interface, and “significant new content, and other features.”
The Witcher 2 is due for Xbox 360 on April 17. It will be “one of the best looking titles to come out to Xbox 360,” according to the clip. Watch the developer diary below.
