Klei Entertainment, developer of the recently released Shank 2, today announced their next game in collaboration with Microsoft Studios, Mark of the Ninja. Due out this summer, it is a 2D stealth platformer for Xbox LIVE Arcade.
If you play through the story on the text adventure site launched to announce the game, you’ll get a first glimpse of gameplay footage. Unfortunately, it’s not something we can embed onto the site (they’ve blocked it on Vimeo!). In it, the character sits on top of a street light, plants a mine, grapples to the wall, and sends attention in direction to the mine to a guard below. Naturally, the guard walks over to check it out, and… you can probably guess what happens next.
