No 1: Dragon....'s Dogma.

It’s finally happened. After too many straight weeks to count, Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Online has been dethroned from Famitsu’s Most Wanted number one spot. The PlayStation 3 version of Dragon’s Dogma, due in Japan on May 24, has overtaken it by 146 votes. Other significant moves this week include Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which has moved from the 26th spot to the 9th, and a couple of 3DS titles, which have moved from the mid- to high-twenties to the mid-teens.

You know DQX position is only temporary right. The Last Remnant how it holds on is beyond me. Have ever emailed SE about it?

    • Sal Romano

@FinalFantasy_fangirl: Oh, I know, lol. But it’s great to finally get to use an image that isn’t DQX, lol. I honestly didn’t think Dragon’s Dogma would dethrone it, even once. But good for Cap!

I haven’t e-mailed S-E, and honestly, I don’t think their U.S. or E.U. branch would know anything about it, officially. Though, next time I see them in person, I’ll ask anyway.

Wooo! Cant wait to get Dragons Dogma!

Very shocked to see this. I never imagined Dragon’s Dogma would appeal to JP gamers so much.

I’m starting to believe The Last Remnant PS3 listing is a troll by Famitsu staff.

  • Venik

I’m not really exited about Dragon’s Dogma myself. The monsters look good, but the world and characters look boring. I even played a short demo on an event, but the gameplay was crap.
Strange to see Japanese people getting exited about such a Western looking game.
