Square Enix will release a trial version of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy on the 3DS eShop in Japan this Wednesday, February 29, titled “Demo Vol.1 – Crystal Maiden.”
The demo will feature an augmented reality movie starring a young girl named Anies, as well as an actual gameplay segment where players control a character and experience the game’s visual concept. An AR marker, which will be made available on the game’s official site, is required for the augmented reality component.
Square Enix is planning a series of Bravely Default demos to come, which will focus on the game’s world, systems, and characters.
Four new screenshots of the game can be seen at the gallery.
