PlayStation France VP: Monster Hunter coming to PlayStation Vita
Will Japan go insane? Probably.
Monster Hunter is coming to PlayStation Vita, according to PlayStation France managing director and vice president Philippe Cardon.
Speaking with French news site Le Point (via VG247), Cardon touched on PlayStation Vita’s bumpy Japanese launch, citing the absence of one particular title being the key factor.
“The games available at launch in Japan do not correspond to the typology of the Japanese public. It lacks a particular game, Monster Hunter, scheduled for the coming months,” he said.
“Had it been there from the start in Japan, the story would have been different.”
Capcom has not yet announced a Monster Hunter title for PlayStation Vita. The latest release, Monster Hunter Tri G, launched in December for 3DS in Japan. The latest upcoming release, Monster Hunter 4, has only been announced for 3DS.
