Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be playable by the public for the first time ever at E3 this year, Weekly Famitsu has revealed.
Inside this week’s issue is a special feature about the game, where Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima, PlatinumGames CEO Tatsuya Minami and producer Atsushi Inaba look back on how Rising came to be a PlatinumGames production.
Minami and Kojima first spoke of the collaboration at January 2011’s “NGP” reveal event (PlayStation Vita before it was named). When Platinum got behind the wheel, the first thing they tossed was the stealth component, as they felt action and stealth didn’t blend well. Kojima agreed, adding that his team felt the same.
E3 runs from June 5 through 7.
