ESRB rates Killzone 1 for PlayStation 3 [Update]

First Killzone coming to PS3.

The original Killzone is coming to PlayStation 3 in some shape or form, if the Entertainment Software Rating Board is anything to go by.

The ESRB recently rated the 2004-released PS2 game for PlayStation 3.

The possibilities? It could be either a: high-def update, be it on PlayStation Network or at retail; or a simple PS2 classics entry.

Update 9:22 PM: Sony has confirmed to Game Informer that it will release a direct port of PS2’s Killzone on PlayStation Network on January 24 for $9.99.
