
This year’s Video Game Awards promises to be a big one. Spike TV’s kicked off the teaser roll today, revealing the show will see “the truth about Metal Gear Solid: Rising,” “the return of Alan Wake,” and “a new project from BioWare.”
Mark Burnett, an Emmy award-winning producer behind TV shows Survivor, The Voice, and The Apprentice, has been signed to the show as its executive producer.
The Video Game Awards will air live on Saturday, December 10 from Sony Studios in Los Angeles on Spike TV, MTV2, and Spike.com.
Update 2:45pm According to Game Informer news editor Jim Reily (via Twitter), the first images of the Alan Wake sequel and new BioWare game will go live on Game Informer on Monday.
