This week’s Dengeki PlayStation has the reveal of a new Nippon Ichi Software title for PlayStation 3. Developed by System Prisma, the team behind PSP‘s Cladun series, Meikyuu Touro Regasist is an all-new dungeon action RPG.
You play as Alto, whose sister has been turned to stone by an evil curse, on a journey to set her free. Alto and his party will explore dungeons, and return to their base after reaching their goal on each floor. In these dungeons, you’ll find traps and other puzzle elements which can affect both the player and enemies. At the base, you’re able to form a party of three based on your crew’s abilities.
When you find equipment in a dungeon, you may only take it back to base if it survives until your leave. Every piece of equipment has a health bar. If a piece of equipment loses all of its life, you lose the equipment.
Not much was revealed on combat. It will use a real-time battle system and support six job types, according to project planner Shougou Kosakai. Unrelated to the battle system, the game will have a character edit mode. Kosakai hopes to implement a system where players can import illustrations from their PC.
System Prisma is aiming for 20 to 30 hours of playtime on the main story, though there will be plenty of other things to do as well.
Meikyuu Touro Regasist is due for PlayStation 3 on March 15. It will cost 7,140 yen.
