Sega signs Arkedo Studio’s Project Hell Yeah!
Arkedo signed to "dream publisher."Sega America and Sega Europe revealed a new partnership with the developers behind PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Indie Games’ Arkedo series. Sega will publish Arkedo Studo’s Project Hell Yeah!, which has been in development at the Paris-based studio for nine months.
Arkedo is pleased. Studio boss Camille Guermonprez offered Sega a statement screaming of ‘I told you so.’
“See, Sega? We spent the last five years telling you repeatedly that someday, somehow, you would publish one of our games,” said Guermonprez “This day has come. Hell Yeah! Now let’s go back to work and finish the damn thing.”
Sega is equally as thrilled.
“We are absolutely delighted to have signed Arkedo,” said Mike Hayes, CEO for Sega America and Europe. “Arkedo have proved to be at the forefront of innovative design and Project Hell Yeah! is sure to continue this trend.”
Arkedo have described Project Hell Yeah! as their “biggest—and hopefully BEST—game so far,” Sega being their “dream publisher.”
We know little to nothing about the game besides the fact that it’ll include monsters, “tons of different monsters.” That includes “small monsters,” “big monsters,” “rude monsters, and “tough monsters,” according to Arkedo. Other than that, we’re not even sure if it’ll be a download or retail game.
Arkedo will provide updates on Project Hell Yeah! on the game’s official blog.
