Register for the Xbox 360 dashboard update public preview
New design, beacons, deeper Facebook connectivity and more.
It’s that time of year again. Microsoft is accepting applicants for the new Xbox 360 dashboard update, announced at E3 this year, which promises an “increased responsiveness and improved engagement with Xbox experiences.”
The update will roll out this holiday, but if you make the cut for the preview program, you’ll get it a bit earlier. That means you can brag about it to all your friends. And don’t lie. We know you’ll want to.
If accepted, the update will include:
- New design for integrated Kinect and controller navigation.
- New Beacons to play online with friends.
- Deeper Facebook integration.
- New Cloud Storage for Game Saves and Xbox LIVE Profile.
