Over 100 games in development.

Sony shared new PlayStation Vita tech specs today. Specifically regarding its battery life. Set for release on December 17 in Japan, the handheld will run 3-5 hours before a recharge, when gaming.

When playing video, the battery should last about five hours. And when playing music (in stand-by mode), it should last nine. That’s all, of course, if the screen brightness is set to default, Bluetooth is turned off, and headphones are being used in place of the system’s speakers. The battery takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes to recharge.

Additionally, Sony released a list of games for the handheld, which reveals both Atlus and Level-5 are on board with a Shin Megami Tensei game and unannounced RPG, respectively.

    Games out of that list that I’d prolly get:

    – Uncharted: Golden Abyss (SCE)
    – Shinobido 2: Tales of the Ninja
    – Lord of APocalypse (Square Enix)
    – Shin Megami Tensei game (Atlus)
    – Persona 4: The Golden (Atlus)
    – New RPG (Level-5)
    – New Action RPG (Marvelous Entertainment)
    – Ys -Foliage Oceans in Celeceta (Nihon Falcom)

    Not bad…but I’ll still wait for something more solid. Hopefully the future will bring some more interesting releases for the system.

      @FaithlessMr: hope it’ll be released stateside…

      • FaithlessMr

        @Schtolteheim Reinbach III:
        I didn’t even thought of these games staying exclusive to Japan :x Hope they do make their way to the west ofc!

        The games aren’t region locked I believe, so that shouldn’t be a major issue I hope

        • Schtolteheim Reinbach III

          @FaithlessMr: Yep, hope they do release it in the west, they got some cool RPG’s in there…

    • KingdomPersona

      • FaithlessMr

        To each their own I guess :) So far the 3DS line up is looking more up to my standarts, but these games I listed will definitely make me get a Vita eventually.

    Anyone else think this list is completely boss? Besides the missing Monster Hunter 4, of course.
