NIS announce The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen for PlayStation 3

Back in August, Nippon Ichi Software teased a new role-playing game in development. Today, a leak from this week’s Dengeki PlayStation has revealed it to be The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen, an action role-playing game for PlayStation 3.

It’s an open-world dark fantasy RPG, where players choose whether they’re good or evil. There are no transitions between town and field. It features fully 3D visuals, from an above perspective, and a 30-hour main story, with sub-quests available as well.

NIS is using the experience it’s gained from developing Disgaea for The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen. They promise to offer a sandbox world where players are free to do whatever they desire.
