Is Namco’s new Tales game “Tales of the Heroes”?

Name trademarked in late July.

This morning, Namco Bandai went live with a “New Tales of” countdown site, teasing the next entry in the RPG series for a Tokyo Game Show reveal. Tonight, it’s been discovered the publisher trademarked the name “Tales of the Heroes” on July 22.

If the countdown and trademark are tied, the game could be another handheld spin-off, similar to Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology and Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon.

The reveal happens in less than two days. Keep watch.
