Trials Evolution playable at Gamescom

A "huge step forward" in downloadables

RedLynx will showcase the sequel to 2009’s hit Xbox LIVE Arcade title Trials HD at Gamescom this week. Trials Evolution, it’s called, will launch on Xbox LIVE Arcade later this year.

“Ever since we teased Trials Evolution at E3, gamers have clamored for more information,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “But until recently, we’ve been quiet and working hard on the game.

“Now at last, we are ready to start showing everyone why this game is called Trials Evolution – why it is more than just a sequel, but is a huge step forward in digital downloads.”

Gamescom attendees will have a chance to get their hands on the game for the first time. A week later, the game will also be playable across the globe at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington.

“This is the biggest game RedLynx has ever done, and one of the most ambitious downloadable console games ever,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “The things that can be done with just the editor will astound long-time fans of the series. I can’t wait to see what the community will be able to create!”
