In Rune Factory 4, your lead character is royalty. If you choose the male character Lest, you’re a prince. If you choose the female Frey, you’re a princess.
You’ll use a “Prince System” to build up your city, Selphia, and make it an attractive area for tourists. You’ll use “Prince Points” to hold festivals, develop city facilities, etc. If you manage to run a nice city, you’ll be labeled “Crown of the Crown,” or the ultimate prince / princess.
Marvelous Entertainment, publisher of Rune Factory 4, also introduced a new character named Wolkanon today. He’s an old steward who works for a dragon that helped out the main character in some way.
