Capcom revealed an all new gameplay mode for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle this weekend. Giving players true freedom, Off the Record will feature a much-requested sandbox mode.
Sandbox mode allows players to “explore the casinos, restaurants, malls and new Uranus Zone that comprise Fortune City without the obstacle of time.” Players can complete challenges, which range from “collection style challenges to vehicle-based challenges to zombie massacre challenges,” to earn extra money for use in the game’s various pawn shops and vending machines.
