The newest of Dead Island‘s four playable characters to receive an introduction is Purna, a former officer of the Sydney Police department.
Purna faces a troubled past, fired from the force after killing a child molester who kept the law on his side thanks to his wealth and connections. She’s now a bodyguard, working for VIPs in dangerous areas around the globe. Both her skills and looks get her the job, as wealthy men don’t mind showing up with a good-looking Purna on their arm.

Dead Island is out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 6, 2011.
