The Resistance 3 public multiplayer beta will go live on August 4, Insomniac has announced. That is, for those who received early access to the beta by purchasing SOCOM 4.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain entry to the beta on August 23.
The beta includes two “major” maps: the Seaside of Glamorgan, Wales, and the Trainyard in Bogota, Colombia. Two out of the retail game’s five multiplayer modes are playable, which are Chain Reaction and Team Deathmatch. The beta will allow you to level up your character, upgrade your weapons and abilities, customize your loadouts, and unlock new skins. The beta level cap is 20.
