Off-screen Saint Seiya gameplay footage

Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle made its gameplay debut at the Japan Expo in Paris. Publisher Namco Bandai made the game playable across a slew of kiosks, inviting eager gamers to play and, more importantly, record for those at home.

Based off its presentation, it’s a melee action game with plenty of enemies on the battlefield at once. There are four attack buttons (Square, Triangle, Circle, and R1) and a jump button. Then you’ve got your dodge, seventh sense, and burst cosmos abilities.

Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle will launch in Europe in 2012. A North American release has not been announced.
