New Xbox 360 Bluetooth headset, media remote announced
Microsoft will release a new Bluetooth headset for Xbox 360 in November. Though, the Bluetooth aspect of the headset cannot actually be used with the console.
The device can connect to Bluetooth-compatible devices, such as cell phones or a PC, but it can only connect to Xbox 360 through the system’s standard radio frequencies, according to Major Nelson. It will retail for $59.99 when it launches later this year.
A new Xbox 360 media remote was also announced. It has your standard media controls — play, fast-forward, rewind, etc. — along with A, B, X and Y buttons, d-pad navigation, and back and select buttons. It will launch in early November 2011 for $19.99.
