Mass Effect 3 is the end of the Mass Effect trilogy, but it’s not the end of the series. According to BioWare marketing director David Silverman, Mass Effect 3 is being designed as “a new beginning.”
“We designed Mass Effect 3 to be a new beginning,” said Silverman in an interview with CVG. “This series definitely doesn’t end with Mass Effect 3.”
Their new beginning will be one of the best games ever created, according to Silverman.
“We’re making Mass Effect 3 to be the best game we’ve ever made. That would make it one of the best games ever, and we’re hoping to see sales that reflect that,” he said.
According to VGChartz, Mass Effect 2 sold over 3 million units across all three platforms.
Mass Effect 3 will release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 9, 2012.
