A pair of Rune Factory 4 love candidates

Rune Factory 4 has both a male and female protagonist, with love being a major factor in their lives. New images released today detail two candidates you may end up tying the knot with.

Margaret, a heroine candidate, is an elf with a serious but caring personality. She’s a musician that plays at a local restaurant during dinner time. She’s voiced by Aoi Yuuki.

Bishnal, a hero candidate, is on the path to becoming a steward, learning from an elder in the field. An easy to fool person, he believes whatever he’s told. He left home because he didn’t agree with his parents’ opinions. He’s voiced by Daisuke Namikawa.

If you and your candidate fall for each other, the screen will zoom into the lovers’ world, which consists of things like fishing and piano playing. This is called the “Doki Doki Zoom” system. In Japan, it’s common to tell someone you’re doki doki for them, which basically means your heart throbs for them.
