Nikkei outs Project Cafe details
Nikkei, one of Japan’s largest media corporations, has leaked Project Cafe details prior to Nintendo‘s Tuesday morning press conference. Most of it mirrors what we’ve heard in the past.
According to the report, the controller for the platform features a six inch touch screen, adding for tablet-like control to game elements and characters. The controller can also be used as a portable platform, says the site.
The controller has a built-in rechargeable battery, and also includes a camera. The camera, like the touch screen, can be used in a variety of ways. An example provided by Nikkei is when creating an avatar of the player.
According to its sources, Nikkei says the console could release as early as mid 2012.
Thanks, Andriasang.
