Following yesterday’s announcement of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Zone of the Enders HD Collection, Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima took to Twitter for questions.
According to Kojima, the version of Metal Gear Solid 3 included in the collection is Subsistence, not Snake Eater.
The Zone of the Enders HD Collection will include the content of the Anubis Special Edition.
The transfarring system used for the PlayStation 3 versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 will work with NGP, not PSP. Kojima said the two games are PS2 quality, which the PSP cannot deliver.
Kojima Productions staffer Kenichiro Imaizumi confirmed the differences in the Japanese and western releases. In Japan, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition and Metal Gear Solid HD Edition (Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3) will be released as two separate games. In the west, all three are placed into one collection.
Regarding Peace Walker HD, staffer Jiroo Tsubuyaki said: “It’s not just emulation. There are many areas that are being remade, and the play feel is completely new.”
On the Fox Engine, Kojima was asked if all of Konami would be allowed to use it. He answered with: “of course.” A fan followed up with a request for Snatcher made in the Fox Engine. Kojima said that this will not happen.
Finally, Kojima posted this image:

Thanks, Andriasang.
