Rumor: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PS3 announcement at E3

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is coming to PlayStation 3 by way of Sony’s PSP Remaster series, according to a report from French gaming site JVN.com.

The site reports that the title will be confirmed as one of the first games to hit western shores in the PSP Remaster series at E3 next month. The series sees the best PSP titles given a boost to PlayStation 3 with high-definition visuals and improved controls.

Unlike Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver., which will release on a blu-ray disc, the site said that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will likely release as a PlayStation Network download.

E3 kicks off two weeks from today.
