PlayStation 3 firmware v3.61 released

Sony has issued a mandatory PlayStation 3 update over PlayStation Network, tonight. Although, the service is not yet back online. The update, version 3.61, requires PlayStation Network account holders to change their password in preparation for when the services goes back up.

In short, PlayStation Network is not yet live. With this update out now, we expect it to be up soon.
