The next Dragon Ball game, currently dubbed Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011, is a successor to the Tenkaichi series, Namco Bandai has revealed at their Level Up press event in Dubai.
A poster for the game, captured by Spanish gaming site Meristation, boasts “faithful manga style graphics,” “totally destructible battle fields,” and an ‘immersive’ story mode.
The story mode features the “original Japanese voiceover and music,” and will “immerse players in the rich variety of the Dragon Ball universe, where every element of the battle will thrill.” It will also include a Special Mode where the player will “experience the brand new age of Dragon Ball Z.”
Controls are mentioned as “refined” in order to “bring the experience closer to the acclaimed previous Tenkaichi series.”
It’s out this fall for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be playable at the Japan Expo in Paris from June 30 to July 3, 2011. No word on whether or not the same can be said for E3.
Thanks, Vegivo.
