Latest God of War 4 rumor adds multiplayer

God of War 4 is in development and will feature a multiplayer mode, according to the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK.

In this month’s rumor section, the magazine wrote: “Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer.”

It added: “Our source works closely with the God of War universe, and let slip he’d be working on a related project at the same time.”

Last month, PSM3 rumored that “God of War 4 is coming, and will hit in September 2012.” Prior, the resume of a cinematics studio employee listed “God of War 4 Cinematic Test” under his work experience.

God of War III saw the end of a trilogy, but Santa Monica Studio‘s John Hight has said that it “is not the end of God of War.”
